Cost of Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Costs of Extracting Wisdom Teeth can vary based on the complexity of removal, for example, Impacted Wisdom Teeth are generally much harder to remove, require additional planning, and a skilled dental surgeon to properly remove (our dentist more than qualifies!). Costs are typically charged per tooth removed, as well as fees to cover x-rays, possible surgical necessities, and the optional fee of Oral Sedation if you want to be unconscious during the procedure (but freezing / anesthetic is free!) Dental Insurance companies will generally cover the procedure in part up to 50% of the procedure, and our talented administrators will pull what strings they can for you!
Symptoms of Wisdom Teeth That Have Overstayed Their Welcome

In Addition to the Above, You Likely Have Impacted Third Molars If:

- It is difficult to open your mouth fully
- Pus coming from the Gum line
- You experience the above and have a fever

What Are Impacted Wisdom Teeth?
An Impacted Wisdom Tooth occurs when your Third Molars grow in an abnormal angle compared to the rest of your teeth. Sometimes these Third Molars grow towards bone or other teeth to the point where they can collide (hence the word ‘Impacted‘). Often this growth can occur either completely underneath or partially ‘erupt’ (surface) from the Gum line. Wisdom Teeth that are not impacted and currently causing issues can sometimes be safely left alone, but any Impacted Third Molars should certainly be removed as soon as possible for your health and peace of mind.
I laugh at myself. I don’t take myself completely seriously. I think that’s another quality that people have to hold on to…you have to laugh, especially at yourself.—Madonna
